Mission
The Friends of the Kelly Rink mission is to bring ice skating and all sports associated with ice skating to the youth of Jamaica Plain, Roxbury and neighboring inner city neighborhoods, because we believe that everyone should be able to ice skate. We work toward achieving this goal in two ways. First, we provide affordable youth and adult skate rental skates for use during public skate sessions and ice skating lessons. Second, we offer a USFSA-sanctioned Learn-to-Skate program for youth and adults.
Organization
The Friends of the Kelly Rink is a 501(c)(3) organization with a volunteer board membership and without a full- or part-time staff.
