The Kelly Rink is operated by the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation. Up to date information can be found at https://www.mass.gov/locations/dcr-kelly-outdoor-rink.
- The rink will expected to open on Dec 13 and skate rentals will be available Dec 20 through early Mar 2026, weather permitting.
- Sunday to Friday: 12pm to 7:30pm, Saturday: 1pm to 7:30pm.
- Holiday schedules may apply, see the DCR site for specific dates and more info.
- Skating is free to all and skates may be rented for $5 (all day on the weekends, after 3pm on weekdays).
- Directly behind the Stony Brook T station on the orange line. Free on-site and street parking available.
- No registration required.
- Group event? The ice itself is free to all. Our skate rental is ordinarily open after 3pm on weekdays but earlier groups can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
